Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Museum of Illusions suitable for young children?

Yes. Under-5s go free, and the page suggests it from age 4, when children can pose for the photos.

Can we take a pushchair?

Possible, but it’s a compact museum, so a carrier or small fold-up pushchair is easier.

How do we get there?

The museum is at Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 17, near La Rambla. Take the metro to Liceu or Catalunya (L3) and walk about 5 minutes.

What ticket options are there?

There are three tickets: the Big Fun Pass (the eight Big Fun museums on La Rambla, from €25.50), the Museum of Illusions only (from €14.50) and Duo Fun (all nine museums in both buildings, from €29). The Museum of Illusions is a separate building, five minutes’ walk from the Big Fun Museum. Under-5s go free and tickets are valid for 12 months. Use code BCNFORKIDS for 10% off online.
