Visiting CaixaForum with Kids

Alongside the changing exhibitions, look out for Splat, Sol LeWitt’s large, colourful wall painting in the entrance hall. Its flowing shapes and bold colours give children plenty to spot and talk about as you arrive.

For children aged 8 and up, Symphony and Ravel’s Bolero offer immersive virtual reality experiences that take you into the world of an orchestra. You can see and hear the instruments up close, with music and images at the heart of the experience. These are booked separately from the exhibitions.

The building is also part of the attraction. Take a look at the former factory’s red-brick towers, decorative patterns and courtyards before continuing your day on Montjuïc.
